On 31 May 2012, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 3005/QD-BCT on approving the “Power Development Plan of Gia Lai Province for Period 2011-2015, with Outlook to 2020”.
According to the approved power development plan for Gia Lai province, the total provincial commercial electricity generation is forecasted to grow by 13.2%/year for period 2011-2015, and 12.2%/year for period 2016-2020. The per capita commercial electricity generation in 2015 is projected at 665 kWh, and 1,096 kWh in 2020.
