On 8 October 2012, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 5943/QD-BCT on approving the “Power Development Plan of Khanh Hoa Province for Period 2011-2015, with Outlook to 2020” prepared by the Institute of Energy.
According to this Plan, the provincial commercial electricity generation is forecasted to grow by 12%/year for the period 2011-2015, and 13.2%/year for the period 2016-2020. The annual per capita commercial electricity generation in 2015 is projected at 1,445 kWh, and 2,436kWh in 2020.
