Abstract:
The paper presents the results of study, analysis, assessment of the data from the hydraulic model experiments for some hydropower and irrigation works carried out by the Institute of Energy and Vietnam Academy for Water Resources. From the hydraulic work arrangement characteristics, hydraulic model experiment data, velocity, pressures, downstream wave parameters, etc., the research team has drawn out some conclusions and recommendations to serve as the scientific and practical bases for designing the bed energy-dissipators after the flood spillway.
